AEA

Forensic audio expert Wes Dooley began making microphones in 1998, beginning with a copy of the original RCA 44 ribbon microphone. The company now manufactures numerous ribbon microphones at multiple price points, from the R92 (MSRP $900) to the “museum quality” RCA R44 replica, the R44C (MSRP ~$4000).

In 2013, the company introduced a new product line called NUVO, details of which will follow in October.
