Carvin Corporation
Carvin manufactures and sells musical instruments and pro audio gear. The company is best known for its guitars and guitar cabinets.
Carvin was founded in 1946 by Lowell Kiesel, whose first manufacturing company (LC Kiesel Company) was renamed Carvin, after his sons Carson and Gavin Kiesel, in 1949. The company has sold guitars via mail-order catalog since 1954; the catalog mailing list has over one million subscribers (as of 2009).
