DIY Audio Components
DIY Audio Components is a small manufacturer of original microphones, located in Riga, Latvia. Microphone research and development is managed by Artur Fisher, while assembly and tuning is managed by Alex Kiselev.
The company sells components and tools for the DIY ribbon-microphone community: 2.5-micron foil, plastic corrugation gears (for crimping the ribbon), and a drop-in ribbon motor called the RE-154.
DIYAC’s first complete microphone, the RM-5 Ribbon, began shipping in 2011.
