TNC Audio
Founded by California-based engineer and producer Chance Pataki and Nassau-based engineer/producer Terry Manning (of Compass Point Studios) in 2007, TnC Audio imports pro audio gear from Chinese manufacturers for sale (at near-wholesale prices) around the world. Chance and Terry organized a large “group buy” of microphones and preamps, approximately $250,000 worth, via the Homerecording and ProSoundWeb forums in 2008.
Microphone component upgrades — transformers, tubes, and even redesigned circuit boards — are coming available under Manning’s Lucas Engineering brand; pre-modified TnC mics will be sold under the name Bulldog Brand.
